From New England to Texas

You know you're in Texas when...

The meat section extends the entire length of the grocery store
(and likewise, you are given a look of pity when you tell someone that you're vegetarian, as they direct you to the only place within 50 miles where you can get a meal)

You have beans, tacos, or tortillas at least once a week.

Any knowledge of languages besides Spanish is pretty useless. :( Goodbye, francais....

People stare at you when you speak in proper, New England-type English.

Strange words such as "y'all" make their way into your vocabulary.

You will come to know the name of the UT quarterback, his statistics, and every honor he has ever received-regardless of how much you hate football.

You are wearing shorts in October (!!!) and AC runs nearly year-round.

Everything is "bigger."

The lyrics to "I've Been Working on the Railroad" have been forever changed.

>>>>>There are many more....I just haven't thought of them all yet. :) Please be patient, or send your own.
